Map and location sources
Maps and place search
Interactive maps, satellite imagery and place search are provided by Google Maps. Built-in Google and imagery-provider attribution remains on the map. Searching for a place moves the map; it does not declare the location of a separately drawn parcel.
These features use the Google Maps terms and Google Privacy Policy. Google receives map and search requests when you use these features.
Saved approximate locations
Orbitty’s automatic saved locations use independently licensed references. Nearby place names and approximate region names use GeoNames, licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0. The snapshot is 17 October 2026. Orbitty selects settlement names, coordinates and administrative names, excludes historical, abandoned and destroyed settlements, and searches within 25 km of the marked geometry. “Near” describes nearby context; it does not claim that an entire parcel is inside that settlement or administrative region.
Approximate country and territory reference data comes from country-coder 5.6.1, © 2025 country-coder contributors, under the ISC license. Its generalized reference boundaries do not establish sovereignty or legal jurisdiction. Border, unsupported-territory and large-parcel ambiguities remain reviewable.

Google reverse-geocoded address results are separate transient suggestions when enabled under the applicable provider terms. They are not copied into the saved marketplace location by the automatic location process.
Measurements and currencies
Map areas are approximate spherical calculations from seller-provided corners. They are not cadastral, title or legal survey measurements. Currency recommendations use pinned Unicode CLDR 48 reference data for the land’s country or territory, as of 17 October 2026. Sellers can choose another supported currency; entering a price does not convert it.
