1. When this applies
This addendum supplements the Seller Terms when you act in a trade, business or profession. It does not grant permission to operate in a market where professional seller publication is unavailable. You must not describe yourself as a private seller to avoid consumer or professional obligations.
2. Business and professional disclosures
Provide your accurate legal business name, jurisdiction, registered or business address, responsible contact, professional role and relevant trade, broker, developer and advertising identifiers when requested. Maintain the required licences and professional permissions. Identify the principal on whose behalf you act when required, while using a secure route for confidential mandates.
You authorise display of the public business or permit information required by applicable law and the product’s preview. Do not upload identity documents or private client evidence into public listing fields. A business account or team role is not proof of land ownership or a professional licence.
A Professional profile may be prepared privately and submitted before buying membership. Public publication requires valid personal identity verification, eligible Professional membership and Admin approval of the proposed public name. Proposed name changes remain private until approved; the existing approved name remains authoritative. Business profiles may also be prepared and submitted privately. Public Business publication requires manual profile approval, an authorized responsible person’s valid personal verification and eligible Business membership. A Business owner does not need a separate Professional membership merely to own or publish the Business profile. Profile approval is not company-document, registry, ownership or licence verification.
3. People acting for the business
Only authorised people may manage the business’s listings and enquiries. Use individual sign-in methods, least privilege and any supported organisation controls; do not share a password or mailbox access as a substitute for accountable roles. Promptly remove departing staff through supported controls and notify Support of disputed control. Where team functionality is unavailable, contact Support for a reviewed transition.
No organisation membership, email-domain match or public company fact alone entitles a person to take over listings. Transfers require appropriate authority review, and a disputed recovery may temporarily restrict sensitive actions.
4. Customers and complaints
Identify yourself accurately in communications. Give required consumer disclosures, lawful advertising information and your own complaint contact. Keep evidence of authority and permits for the legally required period. Do not imply Orbitty is your broker, guarantor or professional regulator. You are responsible for lawful use of enquiry data and any independent client contract.
5. Changes, expiry and enforcement
Update details and required credentials promptly. Unpublish affected listings when authority or a required permission ends. We may suspend professional publication, ask for corrections or request proportionate evidence while reviewing a concern. Decisions can be challenged through Support → Appeal. Fee, liability, governing-law and mandatory-rights provisions in the Seller Terms and Terms of Use continue to apply.
