1. Land and authority
List only a lawful interest in real land that you currently have authority to advertise. Choose the correct seller role and supply required permits. Do not publish someone else’s land without permission, conceal a title or boundary dispute, claim a professional licence you do not hold or suggest Orbitty has verified saleability.
2. Honest information
Use accurate descriptions, price and currency, location, media and availability. Explain material uncertainty. Keep sold, leased, withdrawn or unavailable status current. Do not use bait prices, fabricated scarcity, guaranteed returns, materially misleading boundaries, repeated duplicates, stolen photos or unsupported planning and utility claims. Listing photos must depict the advertised land or be clearly described contextual material.
3. Prohibited content and activity
The following are not permitted:
- Fraud, impersonation, unlawful discrimination, harassment, threats or exploitation.
- Land or interests whose advertisement or transfer is unlawful, including protected or restricted land where required authorisation is absent.
- Circumvention of applicable sanctions or dealings with prohibited parties.
- Content infringing copyright, trademarks, privacy or confidentiality.
- Public identity documents, full financial details or private contacts without a lawful basis.
- Malware, phishing, credential collection, unsafe links or attempts to bypass security.
- Spam, unauthorised automated contact harvesting or disruption of the service.
- Weapons, controlled drugs and other unrelated illegal goods or services.
- False regulatory approvals, title guarantees or claims that payment purchases verification.
4. Enquiries and conduct
Use received contact details for the requested enquiry, not unsolicited marketing. Do not pressure another user to send money, reveal credentials or bypass independent advice. Sharing an external contact channel does not remove these standards. Report harmful behaviour rather than retaliating or publishing private evidence.
5. Enforcement
We may request edits or evidence, reduce visibility, remove content or restrict accounts in proportion to the issue. Urgent fraud, illegality or security risks can require immediate action. We give reasons and an appeal route where lawful and safe, with additional restrictions for repeated abuse. See the Moderation and Appeals policies. Good-faith reports are welcome; knowingly false or abusive reports can themselves breach these standards.
